Dont know about the limit switches and no it did not grind.
If you use the arrow keys in the move window, does it move correctly, left=left, down=down, etc.?
yes, it moves correctly
Take a photo of the machine from above showing the entire assembly with the laser head near the center.
so, I move the laser head to the center and take a picture of the machin?
Yes please. I want to see if I can determine limit switch location.
Let me take the top off and see if I can get a better picture of it or is that ok?
Just went to neje website. They hide the limit switches pretty good. Look on your gantry for this and let me know where they are located. Is the Y switch pointing toward the front or rear & is the x switch on the left or right?
this picture is better IMG_1478.HEIC - Google Drive
So it looks like this machine has the home in left rear. You need to make that change in lightburn. In mchine settings (wrench & Screwdriver icon) set the origin to left rear. Then try homing.
So by homing you mean just press the little house in the move section right?
Correct, then click ok. Click the home button in the laser panel.
went to the back left without grinding. Really smooth.
Now check your coordinates in move window.
In the console enter $10=1, then move the laser away from the corner and home again. Check coordinates.
