My laser losts its coordinates. I have a Neje Max with extensions. My laser is at 0,0 position but in Get position it shows X = -1432 Y = 484

I hit $10=1 on console, then I moved the laser head a little, then I went to laser and hit the home button and this is the numbers it gives me

This is not making sense to me. Shut the machine off, shut down Lightburn, disconnect the power and USB Cables from the laser for 30 seconds. Then you can reconnect and restart everything. Try homing and reading coordinates again.

It appears the machine homes back left. If it is working in Quadrant #1, it should report X=0 and Y=something.

I think the G10 command can fix the display, but I am not sure if the X correction should be + or - in the GCode.
Give this a try in the Console window…
G10 L2 P1 X1570

If this does not work, you can reverse it by setting X0 in the command.

Congrats to @thelmuth for getting everything straightened out.

ok, closed lightburn, disconnected cables and everything from machine. Now I reconnect them all, Is there a process as to what to connect first? 1-reconnect machine to electricity, reconnect usb cable gto computer and last turn lightburn on on the laptop?

It doesn’t really matter. I woud turn the laser on before starting Lightburn, that sometimes overcomes looking for connection.

I opened lightburn, hit home and this is what it gives

just pasted that and now I try to home again and see what coordinates it gives?

In console type G10 L2 P1 X1450 Y1210 then Enter. Recheck coordinates it will either bo 0,0 or double what is there now and we can adjust.

itjust changed to a negative number

Mine or Tim’s G10 command?

so I first hit the previous command Mikey said and now I added this one and this is what it gives me. Both negative

First I hit Mikey Command and then Tim´s

We need to go back to $10=0 first. $10=1 was an incorrect setting. So, enter $10=0, then enter G10 L2 P1 X0 Y0

G10 L2 P1 X0 Y0 to reset everything. Then another screen capture where we can see the X&Y numbering in the display.

I had to use this on my S30, but my SF-A9 is =1 and displays fine. Go figure!

this is what I have added so far

thats correct right?

Too many cooks in the kitchen. I will keep quiet until asked a question. Surely this is confusing to Adriana…

You did $10=0? If so, enter G10 L2 P1 Y1030

Maybe so, but I’m glad for your input. I’m not familiar with the G10, other than what I’ve seen from others. If this next step doesn’t work, I’ll pass to you.
