My new software won't recognise my Ruida controller

Purchased a new laptop the other day. Loaded Lightburn. Everything else is working but the software says there is no connection. Changed the connector cable the other day to a new USB to USB B. Still says there is no connection. I,m a newbie to this forum so any advice greatly received.

Assuming the requisite USB driver is in place and Windows recognizes the controller when you plug it in, then selecting that port in LightBurn should do the trick.
