Neje max 4
The belt is popping on the y axis on this top wheel causing the circles i cut to be egg shaped. The only thing that stops the popping is getting the belt too tight which isnt a solution. It feels like the motor wheel is slightly spinning off centered but im not sure. Any ideas ?
To me the belt looks loose. You say tightening it fixes the popping but is not a solution…why? It seems under tensioned and the idle pulleys being slightly off shouldnt cause it even a slightly not plumb drive pulley would slowly build up to jumping a tooth.
Have you checked to see if the teeth under the drive pulley are undamaged?
Did you adjust the wheels as well?
Yes. Update.
I took the laptop from my co2 laser and put it on the neje and the speed up randomly/jerky issue stopped. However, still not drawingbperfect circle.
Currently im calibrating in lightburn.
Any idea what setting in lightburn could cause the jerky movements in my other laptop
Fixed! I calibrated the laser in lightburn
Hello, I have the same machine and am working through tuning it. What exactly do you mean by “calibrated the laser in Lightburn”? Just the initial connection/configuration from the Devices → Find My Laser → Add Device profile creation dialog(s)? Or something else? Thanks!
For those reading this in the future, keep the NEJE factory belt + pulley blunder in mind:
Hmm, I had not done that yet, but so far all other tests were successful. I was not sure what it actually did but I guess I can run through that calibration to be sure. Thanks.
