New Laser Master 2 error out of the box

Hello

I have just built my new LM2 seemingly without issues. However when I set it up in Lightburn I get an error, and the machine will not move at all.
the error I get is:

[MSG:Caution: Unlocked]
ok
ALARM:9
Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.
ok

Can anyone help please? I believe the wiring is correct and the belt is fitted over the pulleys etc.

Have you powered it? You have to hold the button for a moment and you’ll hear the motors engage and the lights will come on solid. The USB cord provides enough power to run the board, but not the motors, so it will appear to be powered just from plugging in the USB.
