Nvum v2 Controller?

I do have this controller NVUM v2 and i would like to use lightburn software, but i want to know if the software supports this card or not ?

It’s a Mach3 based controller…

Use Lightburn for CNC Controllers (Mach3, Mach4, simCNC ...)

I built a CanCam device profile and looked at S in Device settings. S=1 for CanCam, so I can see that your reasoning is that Smax is 1 for on and 0 for off. Other grbl flavors use Smax=255 or Smax=1000 and LightBurn gladly manages the variable laser/spindle power requests. Please create a plain GRBL device profile for use on your project and your laser equipped mill. Please report back with troubleshooting questions if it’s not working.

I pulled the manuals.
I haven’t seen this controller before but it’s interesting.

I asked the team. I don’t believe we’ve tested that controller yet.

Since that is a Mach3 Controller LightBurn and MillMage are unlikely to ever directly control it. You can use the LinuxCNC profile currently to produce g-code for it but it will need some slight tweaks that you will need to figure out for your specific machine.

In 1.5 we will be releasing a “Custom G-Code” type that you will be able to specify what is included in blocks like “fire” and “tool on” to more easily support controls like this and need less post processing.
