Offset fill or double line to make a line bigger

I am in a discussion and I found this link, but I may be need more complicated instruction to pull this off. What I read.

Here is a file that sort of worked. I need a bit of a thicker line than the laser, but what I am trying to do is very busy and I can’t go too wide. I also think it is going to take time to reproduce all my shapes. The files I messed with is called:
making larger lines.lbrn2 (12.1 KB)

Here is a telecaster file.
telecaster 7 inches.lbrn2 (25.5 KB)
When I use an offset fill on any layer, it seems to fill the whole layer and I can’t adjust it. Can I use a global tool to make all these lines in the telecaster thicker?

Cheers.

Have you tried the Offset Shape command (Alt + O). With this command you can offset all lines in your shape by a very small amount and when you engrave them they look like one thick line.

I will go a completely different way. If you know your focal length and experiment a little, you can bring your laser out of focus with the desired line thickness. (up to a certain thickness) In addition to this option, you of course have the option of normal offset-filling of your lines.
