Optimizing sequence of passes for small cuts

When I cut 6.5mm beech plywood, I usually need 5-6 passes and focus my 10W laser on the centre of the wood, so 3mm deeper. However, when the forms are very small (for example many holes with 6mm diameter, it will always do the 6 passes for each hole and then move to the next hole. This burns the wood much more than if it would do the first pass for each hole, then second pass for each hole (…) and so on.

It seems there was a thread about this already in 2021:

However, I find the suggested solutions very cumbersome and prone to errors.
Has this feature maybe been added in the meantime and I can’t find it?
‘Optimiziation by passes’ - or so?

Unfortunately, optimizaton settings won’t help you here.
Fortunately there is a workaround : make a layer with the right settings and one pass only, and duplicate it in as many sublayers as you need passes.

Check here;

Ok, I am still a Newbie and havn’t understood the concept of Sublayers yet. Now, this makes sense and I’ll try it later.

Thanks guys!
