I am a newbie here and to burning - I recently got an Ortur Laser Master 2 set up and it seems to be fuzzy in the x-axis when I do text or pictures (see pictures below). It’s like it is burning the same image but slightly off orientation on different passes. I initially thought it was a focus issue/issue with the diode, as it does seem to focus to more of a thin line than a dot, but I did a test of a simple square and circle, and the square looks okay so I think the focus okay; as you can see in the circle though, it is not a perfect circle. Any ideas on what might be going on?
I would guess
a) your x belt is loose - and yes it comes pre assembled but at times tension isnt enough
b) your X isnt 100% square. But i would think A
what you seeing is backlash on the belt
