Hello to all olm3 owners. I would like to share with you my experience of replacing the external glass lens. I didn’t take care of it and it cracked. I decided to buy from the manufacturer, but the price of $35 per piece of glass stopped me. I tried the lens and it turned out to be 8mm in diameter and 1mm thick. I found a similar lens on Aliexpress for 18 cents. I bought it, installed it, ran cutting tests and I didn’t notice any difference. I’ve been using it for about a month and everything works as it should. in fact, it is not a lens, but simple glass that performs a protective function and protects the main lens from dust. I hope it is useful to someone.

is not really a lens is a clear - non optical - quartz glass window. 18cents is nice.
Just must be careful to keep it clean, which is what probably hurt the 1st one
Yes, I absolutely agree. You need to clean it after every day of work.
