Ortur Laser Master 3 Y-axis motors don't stop during Homing

Just assembled the Ortur Laser Master 3.

Tried the start up sequence and the X-axis homed perfectly but when the laster got to the limit of the Y-axis it kept trying to move past the limit screws & the the motors started clicking. I am assuming it is not hitting some sort of limit switch to tell it to stop. I tried reseting the machine & double checking that the SD card & wires are connected.

Trying to understand if I assembled it incorrectly or if there is something I need to fix via software. Thanks

I believe the OLM3 uses a sensorless homing mechanism so does not rely on a separate switch.

I’m curious about the clicking. I’m wondering if your belts or the gear are potentially loose and slipping and making that clicking noise and consequently also disrupting the homing process.
