I’m not sure if it’s the belt suddenly or what. It’s like it’s binding up on something when it burns, and moves the burn sometimes 2 inches because it skips. And on the left side, the metal wheel is grinding against something but I have no idea what. But I think that might be the problem. It just started. The belt tension is underneath the carriage correct?

Forive me if I’m wrong, but the nut in the top picture looks like it’s loose a few threads.
Looks like the bolt going through the wheel holds it in place and the bolt at the bottom of the picture (without the nut on it) will tension the belt by pulling the wheel back..as you tighten the nut.
