A little about me first. I’m new to LM3 and Lightburn. I’m understand electronics and computers. But am a long way from being an IP/Wi-Fi guru.
I’ve got the latest LM3 firmware, (Thanks Gil!) and LightBurn update.
If I’m understanding correctly,
For LM3 all I need to do is enter my SSID and Password in $74 & $75 per Gil’s instructions and copy the IP address given to me.
For Lightburn I select Grbl, (or is it GRBL-LPC?) and enter LM3 IP address I copied earlier.
So, is it really that easy?

Correct.
You can use the IP address provided or create your own. You need to be close to get a reliable signal.
Connection is to a Grbl device.
