i can’t upload the video but my laser started of moving fast engraving the image i put in but now its slowed all the way down pauses for a second does one line pauses and then repeats its not going full speed anymore any suggestion’s?
Check your speeds mm/m mm/s…?
the speeds are set but it just keeps stopping in the middle of a job or it will slow its self down to one pass every few seconds
Try a different USB cable and USB port.

Ortur made a serious effort in Firmware design, enhancements and updates for all their laser engravers.
To see if you have an early firmware that’s been replaced, look at the Console window in LightBurn. The Ortur engravers always share the exact model name and firmware revision number when they first connect to your computer.
LightBurn is set up to allow you to scroll back in the Console window so you can select and copy the text. Please copy the exact model name and firmware version number and paste that into the reply window here so we can check to see if the next step is a firmware update.
If the engraver stops mid-job, it’s also good to know if the engraver pushes an Alarm or Error message to LightBurn in the Console window. If the error message is present, please select and copy that message and paste it into the reply here as well.
I can check to see if the slow-down is related to the control code (GCode) that LightBurn is sending to your engraver.
In LightBurn, click File (top left), then click Save GCode and save the file somewhere convenient. You can drag and drop that file into a reply here (unless it’s huge). If the file is huge you may need to use a file sharing service like Google Drive or Dropbox.
We don’t host videos on the forum, but you can share your video file with Google Drive or Dropbox - or upload it for sharing on Youtube. LightBurn chose Youtube for hosting our videos.
