PC hardware to run 40 W laser via Lightburn

I have both a laser and CNC, and I am getting tired of moving my laptop PC between them, since they are not close to each other. So, I thought about getting some more hardware. What is the minimum spec to use Lightburn, and run a laser?

I am not sure if is this information you are looking for but here it is:

Personally, I control three lasers in parallel using a ThinkPad (Dual Core something) from 2010 or so. I upgraded it with an SSD and 8GB RAM, put Win 11 on it, and it runs perfectly fine. It takes a moment to boot up, but then it’s no problem to run three projects at the same time.
Of course, for designing projects, that would be too slow

You can use any of those slim / mini PCs that are sold everywhere for around $100 or less, those have enough power to run LB smoothly.

Thanks Melvin. I would do my design work on a different PC.
