What motherboard do you have? From video you post before seem quite like an Eleksmaker mana se, if so you have to change it with another one like MKS DLC 2.0 cause that MB can’t supporto new firmware, has not enough memory

Ok is possibile to upload new grbl with Arduino ide, is not so difficult but if you Google how to, you will find a lot of tutorials

@killrob so i upgraded to v1.1h version, but problem still are, he just turn on laser but not too mutch, still need to push test button, maybe you need a video?
Also made $30 = 1000 like value max
Ok i saw video and is not normal at all, make some picts of the 3 wires cable, both side, MB side and interface adapters side please.
Also done $31=1?
Ok i found the issue, as you can see from this link that MB can’t manage module over 5.5W, but the Solution is simple, you can use only the 2 pin pwm from MB to control laser but give him power directly from power supply
This means that you have to use A in the interface adapter
So i need two chargers? One for interface next one for mb?
You can double the output of your actual power supply
@killrob with some adapter or what?
Or you can buy this one, one intput and 3 output.
Btw is my configuration. I use this power supply with a connection for MB and a connection for laser module
