Hi Guys,
My license key expires on 29 Sep (in 8 days). Will I be able to download the new 1.7 version of Lightburn because the beta version is out or will I miss it if the full version is released a few days later?

I would think that you’d miss it, as the date would likely be the release date of the Public Release. But, a reminder, that if you renew before your upgrade ability expires, you get 14 months of updates instead of 12.

Yeah but I am a Linux user so it’s not worth buying another year for me. I guess I will just have to miss the last Linux version of Lightburn.
LightBurn staff have already stated that anyone using Linux will have the ability to update to 1.7. So, you should be fine, and able to upgrade to 1.7 and run it as long as you wish.

What’s the difference between version RW.xxxx and the other version (for Mac)?
Not sure what you are referring to.
Oh, the rw.XXXX versions is a glitch with the CI system that I need to fix. There actually shouldn’t be any difference but don’t use those.

WeCreat Vision 40 Camera Calibration issues.
I’m having a very difficult time getting through calibration. Constant 9999 scores when it’s as clear as can be in the preview. I’ve tried with and without backer material and it seems to work better just laid right on the slats.
I’m focusing the machine first before I do calibration so it lowers the camera down to the correct height for the material. Should I be doing this at the full height of the machine and not doing a focus first?
Also do I need to use positive stops for the positions. i.e. right top/middle/bottom do they need to be exactly the same right alignment or if one is inward or outward from the other will that matter?

And when I do the circles (yes I’m selecting the right pattern on the first screen) it tells me pattern not found
We’ve built the final release version but I’m holding back on setting it as the current version (which would notify all users of the new download) so we can make sure there are no more malware false positives. It would be a great help for everyone here to download this version ASAP… The actual act of downloading it by many people will get it pushed through Google’s safe browsing system.

I didn’t get any warnings and could install right away. But I don’t have any additional scanners than MS Defender running at the moment.
(Win 11, latest build, downloaded with Firefox, latest build)

For now, the hotkeys in Spanish do not yet work, and you should keep in mind that you must export the configurations from the prerelease to keep up to date with the changes you made while using it.
