Right side UI has a mind of it's own LB 2.0.0

I am using the new Lightburn 2.0
Specs:

  • Thunder Laser Bolt 30w
  • Edition Windows 11 Home
  • Version 24H2
  • OS build 26100.4652
  • Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.128.0

The UI on the right side of LB isn’t responding like it should there are so many things going wrong with the UI on the right side of the screen, there must be something I missed?

  • I can’t dock windows without resetting the UI to default.
  • UI goes past the screen on the bottom
  • Camera pull down to resize isn’t working like it should, to make camera image larger.
  • Tabs disappearing when trying to re-size tabs.


This just happened randomly where the tabs are at the bottom but the UI goes under and behind the tabs…? Something has to be wrong with my instance.

I do want to add just in case this plays into anything, I only updated my laptop and not my PC. My laptop uses a 2560x1600 screen, my desktop uses a 4K screen.

  • I can’t scroll down my Material List.

Now that I popped out the window to select Yeti material list, it won’t attach itself again.

The only location it would let me attach the Material List is on the left side as a full pane…

I might ensure I have the latest updates to the OS, then restart the computer. Then review the following:

Hi Rick, thanks for trying to assist. I listed my current version of the OS which happens to be the newest current release Windows and I did see that post about the scaling issues.

These problems are with the High DPI scaling turned off and suggested settings in that post you linked, the one thing I haven’t tried which would be odd if it fixes it would be restarting the laptop. Which I will do now, thank you for the recommendation.

I can’t believe restarting the laptop actually fixed it—glad it did! I never would’ve guessed that was needed, but honestly, it doesn’t surprise me.

I’ve gotten into the habit of rebooting after installing firmware on my Bambu, so I might as well add this software to the restart list too.

I kept thinking, “This can’t be that buggy—the team’s way better than that,” so I’m relieved it turned out to be such a simple fix.
