I recently set up the rotary tool for my xtool D1 but it is not working. It works with the laserbox software that came with it but not light burn. Rotary is enabled. When i hit start the laser tries to do forward past the size of the machine and the rotary does not spin. any help would be great.
The first word of advice that I have is save all your Machine Settings and LightBurn Preferences first. You might mess with the settings and you might want to put things back when you’re done:

This clarified some of the math and settings for me.
I’d be interested to know the roller diameter, gear reduction and step count on the X Tool rotary attachment.
The rotary was set to the Y axis and not the Z axis. Problem solved.
