Did you probe your tool length after changing from the flat endmill to the round-over one?
I stumbled here, because the Tool in the project file you sent uses a different Tip Lenght. Did you change this after you took your screenshot, or did it get scrambled somewhere else?
I missed this part. It’s true that the Chamfer operation only works with V-Shaped bits.
Doing the same movement with a round-over bit would technically work, but would be called a Fillet instead.
yeah might sent wrong file , i was changing everything trying to make sense of it , all my previews looked the way they should of also. every tool change gets probed
Im now thinking below issues are related which happened after this issue, where tool did opposite and wouldn’t even touch material
yeah just seen that , yeah that makes sense re offsets, looking from my side its like there is a lag or stutter to fluid nc or autosave now in RC10,
i have list of processes which are done in same order for every job so i don’t confuse myself ( recovering from head injury) and when issues appear , i can work backwards to try work out where it is happening.
also after update , fetch config on connect and has tool length probe were reverted back to off, re enabled then
possibly MM and my cnc fighting now.
Ill do what i normally do when an issue arises, roll back to last good working RC and run job
yip always use preview. every time, i create an operation before creating next operation to make sure it looks right i dissect everything , and will spend hrs going over and over b4 creating topic here
