Has anyone ever had an issue with their laser light (laser) no putting out the laser power? It will trave, and frame but nothing coming from the laser. Im pretty sure its in my settings somewhere that i maybe dont know about. It wouldn’t even fire. When i hit the fire button it will go on every 30 seconds for about 2 seconds than go off again. If anyone knows what setting it could be let me know please!!! Thanks
How old is the machine?
Could be a bad laser module, controller board, wiring/connector issue, or a weak power supply. Check connectors first, then the power supply, as these are your most likely.
The laser is 2 months old literally brand new.
Likely you assembled it. Tripple check ALL the electrical connections. Sometimes it is hard to make sure those Chinese plugs are fully seated.
I did everything seems ok…ive been using it till i updated lightburn. Bam next second it quit working

That is an important detail you failed to mention. Does it work if you reinstall the previously version of Lightburn?

Did you copy the settings (.lbdev or bulk transfer) to the newer install of Lightburn?

I lost your files but i know for sure its in the software. I talked with sculpfun and switched some plugs in the motherboard and everything was working. Its something in lightburn thats not set right and i cant figure out what it is l. Can you send the files again please? Thanks in advance

A laser param file i think. I just want the basic recommended settings to import to lightburn and get started with my sculpfun s30 pro max
The S30 parameters are set at the factory. It is best you not mess with them for now.
I think what you are asking for is settings for Lightburn. No matter who you ask, you will be told a big IT DEPENDS. I am providing some links to help you get started, meaning so you can ask the right questions.

If you had a previous version of Lightburn that worked properly, but now it does not, go to Preferences, Load Prefs From Backup, and select one dated before you did the upgrade.
If you have a window-too-big issue where the top and bottom is missing, use WinKey+UpArrow to maximize the window.
