When I select some items in my drawing they show up as flashing dotted lines. When i preview it, these items do not show up in the preview. How can I fix this?
set the layer to output or make sure it is within the boundary of your machine’s bed.
If the lines are flashing it means you actually have two lines on top of each other, usually running in opposite directions. This happens when you import Illustrator files that have both fill and stroke colors applied - Illustrator exports one path for the fill and another for the stroke.
If you are filling these shapes, they’ll cancel each other out and disappear. If you set them to ‘Line’ mode, they’ll draw twice.
