It seems they finally got around to fixing the firmware on the 2.0 machines. From the little testing I’ve done, it seems following my full lightburn control guide no longer requires custom firmware. They’ve enabled inline, and fixed the dangerous bug so now it acts like similar to what you’d expect from a GRBL machine.
If you haven’t followed by guide, it was to control the Snapmaker 2.0 from Lightburn, but also to increase accuracy, speed, and enabling inline power control (vs the stock stop and go stuttering making even small engraves take ages). Now it seems everyone can enjoy fast, accurate, repeatable, automation without flashing custom firmware.
