Computer not communicating with Algo. The status lamp is blinking yellow
Questions:
a) does your machine home? when powering up?
b) could you post a image of yoru control box?
Yes it homes properly. I did have to make a minor adjustments to one of the micro switch levers.
If it homes correctly lights should be GREEN
This said, wen you connect to lightburn do you get error messages in console?
Did you import the Profile from the lbdev file from downloads ?
I know nothing about ibdev or any profile, for that matter AND I donât know about downloads on lightburn.

In lightburn click devices in the laser panel
Delete all profiles
Click import
Locate the file you downloaded
Click OK
This will make your machine correctly configured in lightburn
Go to Edit â settings
Make sure you are in mm/min
Laser Pannel, make sure you are in absolute coordenates on âstart fromâ
That should be it

Did you attempt an engrave?
I am not possible to communicate with the laser in any manner. Light remains yellow blinking. It appears I am not enabling my serial port to com with the laser.
Therefore homing is not working properly
2 things
a) See if you can record video of homing and upload somewher eyou can post here
b) right click windows menu â click device manager > Expand Ports zone
Plug your usb cable with the machine powered on.
Does window make the usb sound? take a screenshot of your device manager
After last effort to invoke your driver the status lamp is now blinking white??
Now it is back to blinking yellow
I have gone to device manager and verified that when the laser is plugged in my PC recognizes it as an algo device.
my PC calls it alpha 1 serial

It is obvious to me tat my âlightburnâ software is not accessing the serial port.
I really need these or I am guessing and interpreting what you are saying. this might take twice as much without concrete visual cues
I am having problems with the forum. It will not send my messages.because I havae too many posts for a new bee
I have taken videos of homing and the beep beep when the USB is plugged in. They both function flawlessly! It is a pain to get a video from my phone to PC.
The issue has clarified for me, at this point. My PC is NOT recognizing the USB my Algo is using âAlgo Alpha 1 Serialâ i am likely having a driver issue or a firmware issue.
