So I’m trying to engrave some images using my 60w mopa fiber laser using grayscale mode and everything looks perfect apart from some parts that have these strange lines. Tried different speeds and powers and still the same thing. I think it’s the brightest part of the image so I’d assume that’s confusing it somehow.

Yes, this version partially solves the problem. But new ones appear. I just stopped fighting it, because I no longer had the strength and desire to prove anything. I also have comments on the new algorithm. But most people do not use it, so I stopped fighting. Although, I will repeat once again in these releases everything works fine visually, but problems with the engraving speed appear. Oz explained to me why this happens, but I still stuck to my opinion. I just stopped defending it.
