1, when lightburn sends it, it doesnt even load the entire page. When I click on container, there is NOTHING I can do past that, as no matter what button I press it just sits there.
PS, I reached out on Github.
If your gonna partner with another, make sure its reliable or it hurts your value too.
Did you look at the images of the website I uploaded? Please if you cant take time to read the problem, dont waste our time just so you can get your forum post count up.
I know how it works. The page will not load correctly when my file is sent. Half the page doesnt load when first uploaded, then when i click on container, the website stops like its broke. It never loads the buttons to actually start a nest. I know its not my file as the Deepnest.io has no issue with it.
This is definitely not the way to go, when someone spent the time to try to help.
Please, let’s play nice.
Also, you filed a ticket yesterday, on which we are awaiting information.
Your bounding box -“bin” box appeared too small for the text, so is a reasonable question to ask for further information.
Nice? Yes, sometimes the truth is not so nice and some dont like to hear it.
I saw your email, and will respond as I was away from the office that had the file. The text were not connected and were separate vectors, and smaller then the container shape and I tested fine with Deepest.io app and has no issue with it. I will be sending the file shortly.
your right. I attempted a simple nest with a dinosaur puzzle on a 12x20 piece of wood. It crashed everytime so I looked further into this. SVGNEST hasn’t been updated in 6 years. deepnest is even longer. There is a DeepNest NextGeneration · GitHub which is actively being developed. I’ve downloaded and setup the requirements for running and it actually works quite well with a few gotcha’s. The appimage crashes, so don’t use that. clone the repo and npm build it. Once that’s done, the import dialog is behind the main window. Hard to put it in front, but possible. It nested the 75 parts quite well. (i’ve hand-nested the file before so I know it’s possible on one sheet).
There’s also no lesson or fix when using 1 of the following cookie cutter responses to issues…
Did you go search the forum for your answer?
Here is a tutorial link go read this…
Well, It works for me and it has to be something your doing wrong.
Even though it is a small issue, none of the above either fixes a legit issue or helps find what the actual issue was.
This is frustrating to someone who has searched for over 2 hours on the forum and Google for similar issues before posting as I dont want to waste others time or mine as well.
Try to move the container shape as well as the vectors above the bed and see if that makes a difference then send it. Mine worked fine when above the bed, but when I did it below the bed, it had issue.
MikeyH did find an issue with some of it.
The UI didnt like where my vectors were placed in proximity to the bed. I wouldn’t think that the bed location has any relevance but I guess it does.
If the SVG is exported on negative coordinated space - and the UI on the website seems to not handle that correctly.
