To start, I am brand new to this. I have a twotrees TTC 450 pro cnc with the 20w laser. I have lightburn and lasergrbl. I have simply typed a word in arial font and drew a circle to send to the machine. It engraves fine with power and speed settings working good, but the font does not look like arial and the circle is not a smooth circle, it’s kind of flat on the sides? The font does the outline of the letters half right. For instance, a capitol H will have the bottom right part of the letter the proper width and the bottom left part half of that width. Not sure how to get this fixed, any help would be appreciated.
Hi Rick
If you can post your settings (Screenshot) and a pic of the results of your attempts it will give the people here a much better clue as to whats happening.
It could be mechanical (belt tension etc)or speed issues (Cut settings).
Looks like mechanical slack in your machine, check belts and rollers. make sure the laser head is secured.

My machine doesn’t have belts, it’s just threaded rods attached to the stepper motors on all axis.
There were loose screws that hold the rollers/sleeve to the lead screws on every axis! Did the above little test after tightening and it came out perfect! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
