Updated software will not launch program

I just installed the new update. Now i can’t get it to launch… like at all. Can someone please help? This is my computer info…
|Windows 11 Home
|Processor |Intel(R) Pentium(R) Gold 7505 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz|
|RAM|8.00 GB (7.67 GB usable)|
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor|

This has come up a lot since the 1.7 launch. A quick search of the forum revealed this:

I got this response from support. If your having this issue try this… it worked for me.
Please install these two updates to C++ runtime. Then try again to launch the program.

Well I tried the 2 C++ updates and reinstalled version 17, but still no luck. More checks needed in my case. First time I’ve ever had a problem with ab update… guess it was my turn.

I installed latest version 1.7 and it failed to launch, uninstalled 1.7 and reinstalled 1.63 and it worked. Reinstalled C++ runtime for x64 bit windows 11 and then restarted PC. Reinstalled 1.7 as Administrator but on a different drive and it now launches as it should.
