Upgraded Laser tube and Power supply. Material test did not go well. Do I need to update any settings in light burn?

Update.

Being confident it was the power supply I ordered the same (Cloudray 80W) and hooked it up. Same problem… I put my old 50W PSU on and it works again.

I was recomended to change the Laser on TC, the Laser off TC and the END TC. I was not able to find any way to adjust with lightburn or RDWorks. The options were not there. I have Ruida RDC6442G controller, tried accessing with RDWorks v8.01.65

Thank you everyone for the continued support and ideas.

For well and good reason.

If I understand the setup correctly, the machine has:

  • The new tube
  • The newest power supply

Because it’s a different power supply, I expect it will require a different set of Scanning Offset Adjustment values, which requires doing that whole dance again.

It’s possible they’re referring to the timing values in the Scanning Offset Adjustment table. But IMO it’s impossible to confirm or deny anything; there’s no help from that direction.

If you’re willing, we can walk through measurements for the new power supply, starting from scratch and paying careful attention to detail.

hi, yes i tried usinf negative of ett settings but it did not work for me, only turning of the bi directional setting made me get nearer th result I wasnt

These look like Delay settings used in Galvo configurations. Seems to me you may not be talking to the right support folks.
