Will Lightburn run under wine in Linux?

Can lightburn be installed on linux wine? Seems like Lightburn is shoot it’s self in the foot because Linux is used world wide and Lightburn is reasonably priced for it’s functionality. I am concerned since my windows 10 computer is no longer supported by Microsoft 10 and won’t upgrade to Win 11. So How long will lightburn support Win 10?

You can install a past release of LightBurn with Linux compatibility from our Releases archive, here: Index of /LightBurn/Release/LightBurn-v1.7.08/

Version 1.7.08 is still very capable!

Regardless of the number of Linux users out there, if they aren’t purchasing, it’s not profitable for us. It never was, but it got to the point where it was actively costing us.

As long as a VM supports WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), which is required by our licensing system, it should work fine.

Can the windows version run using Wine on linux???

The licensing doesn’t work through Wine, as detailed in previous discussions:

If you have Linux and Wine you’d be able to answer your own question much faster than I could.
