Kuerig… morning coffee…Dark Roast… sweet n low, two shots coffee mate…
Good eye was hoping the office pics might make this a more personal thread…not to bore anyone tho…
Thanks for showing us around and describing the process…Cool setup.
I have two roasting machines, bulk grinder and 250kg raw beans and coldbrew equip just next to my laser area..Its my Happy place!
Do not get between this man and his first coffee!
Sorry all, just got back from business trip in Chgo.
Getting back on the laser this week ? Yes I am having LASER withdrawal symptoms…
Classic addiction trait.
SOOOOO guilty !
LSD (Laser Symptom Downtime)
Very cool. Just had an idea about using ‘Box joints’ and a strip of ply at 90deg for getting it to stay/rest in place without sticking it to the wall, but could also be positioned in other places if using other designs.
Eg..on the edge of a desk or table.
wow I don’t think I have the patience for Box Joints…but they are sooooo nice !!!
The UV print is something else. I will get around to the box joints soon..ish but had a little breakthrough with images this weekend while exploring Line-Interval and Radius/Amount, also downloaded Gimp and am trying to corelate image meta-data and settings in LB to produce some kind of formula..that might take a while!
Anyway, bravo on the uv print, it totally elevates a piece.
2 sheets 3mm Birch 12 x 20 sheets used…
all parts cut out then each color UV Printed and then
re-assembled and glued back in place
Mostly like a puzzle going back together…
Had to play with the colors a bit…
That Monstera plant project is really cool. By any chance you could share the files?
PLEASE.
These files are on Etsy and belong to the Authors, so for a couple $ they are available for personal use…to all…
Just a note on cutting the birch panels…
I am sure most all the folks know this and take it for granted,
but I wanted to share this again…
when I cut 2/3/6mm birch, I always set my air to 15psi.
Today I had forgot to turn on the compressor and when it started to cut I noticed the
harsh burn marks along the cut lines… Immediately realized I had the air OFF.
So turned on the compressor and all was good a clean cuts again…
Just a quick note again for us folks that sometimes forget..
