Does Xtool D1use a GRBL CONTROLER ?
Yes, at least after the latest firmware update. There’s a number of threads going on about the firmware update but here’s one of the more prominent ones:

Good idea. Invest in a good pair of safety glasses as well. Or as many as there will be in the room with you if the machine is not enclosed with no escaping light.
One thing to keep in mind is that there have been a number of reported problems with the updated firmware so don’t necessarily be frustrated with yourself if things don’t go so well. The main ones I’ve seen are the the inability to save GRBL configuration changes and burn quality during acceleration.
