I have a Xtool F1.
I want 1 layer to be the blue laser and then another layer to be the red laser. I click the appropriate laser in the console but I don’t think it carries on to the next layer. Is there a way to have a separate laser for each layer? Thanks
This is from the xTool site on the F1, about 1/2 way down.
Note: By default, LightBurn uses the blue light laser for processing.
If you want to use the infrared laser, you can click Console. On the Console panel, click the RED_LASER button, or enter M114S2 in the text box and press Enter. Then, click Start, and xTool F1 will start processing by using the infrared laser.
After the infrared laser processing is complete, LightBurn will automatically switch back to the blue-light laser mode.
What you probably should use is the Library in Lightburn.
There is no way I know of to change which laser is used on these… it’s not standard gcode.
You could set the macro function to send the proper gcode, but it would not do it automatically.
