I am thinking of get an XTOOL P2, and wanted to ask if LB can do some of the things XCS will do. The smart camera captures the shape of the materials. XCS software, you can drag a design pattern onto one of the materials, and P2 can automatically match it to the rest. Will LB this. Also there is a curve engraving funtion in XCS, same question.
No. LightBurn doesn’t do this today.
Although looking at a demonstration of this from xTool it looks like a best effort approach and nothing you’d want to rely on for accurate placement.
I assume you’re referring to the dynamic height adjustment that allows you to follow the contour of the material. This is also no.

Thanks, I have a friend that has one, but has not totally set it up yet. But he did say his camara was spot on. Thanks again, thinking hard before I buy. They just sent me a $100 gift card towards the purchase. I dont know yet.
