Xtool S1 with 2w1064 IR head, Lightburn 1.7.4 wont process and offsets need to be changed for 40 w

Trying to use xtool S1 with 2w IR head, with 1.7.4 (RC1 and Rc2) no matter what I try to engrave, it errors out, The following is displayed in console. All I was trying was a letter “T”. Head goes back and fourth short distance then stops. Focus works and Homing works. I have the most current firmware loaded

I also noticed with my 40w Head, between 1.73 and 1.74, I had to readjust the offset - dramatically between the two versions.

1.703 and tried 1.7.04 rc 1 and RC2

something in the machine is sending that cancel alarm. I don’t have the IR head so I am not sure what it might be.

It looks like you are running the GRBL device file that xTool sends. Have you tried running with the new xTool protocol?

@JoeSpanier Hello Joe, I’m running the Xtool Profile, not the GRBL
See Below and 1.704 rc2

@JoeSpanier Let me know if there is something you want me to send?

@JoeSpanier ?

When you have your console open make sure to click “show all” so we can see if there are any extra commands.

That cancel command could be coming from a door switch, or the tray switches. I have not experienced this so it is hard to track down.

If you are able to reliably replicate this go to Help → Enable Debug Log and make the fault happen. Then disable the log and send it over. It will create a file called lightburnlog.txt in your documents folder.

Ok. Will,do, I,will get to,it this weekend thank you
