Thanks for the info.
Guys, thank you for trying to help me solve this problem, it’s really appreciated!
So I changed the profile of the machine in Lightburn and reduced the speed of the engrave. The Cut line is still jumping over the right and it’s still doing some really weird stuff with the boundary.
I decided to try another test which was to run the cut line separately. Again it ran a super weird tiny boundary but it did cut through with the slower speed.

What firmware version are you on?
Hello, I’m on Snapmaker2_V1.19.0_20240307
So the latest, hm… While it doesn’t really solve the actual problem at hand, try using a sub-layer of the same with a kerf offset. I’ve modified the heart 4 test to match what it was but using sub layers instead, see how it works.

Hi @Skreelink so I tried it with the sublayer and it produced the same result. What about some sort of hard reset on the machine? It seems really weird to me that people have had success with settings they’ve shared but my machine is producing something different.
Do you happen to have any of the other lasers, the 1.6W or 10W? Mount one of those and try it again. It might be a firmware bug with the machine with the 40W laser. Considering that should be the only difference between our machines, mine’s an A350 with 10W.
You may want to restart the machine after switching device profiles otherwise it seems to confuse the crap out of the machine, at least it does with mine.
I downloaded your original Lightburn file (the one with the high speeds), and ran it at 2000mm/min and 40% fill, 60% line on cereal box cardboard with the 1.6W laser and it came out fine. Although I probably should have tweaked the overscan to 2.5% to reduce the dark edge around the inner heart, but I wanted to use your file as intact as possible.
FWIW.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late reply. So my original laser unit is in storage and I can’t access it which is super annoying @AlanF so weird that you can run the file just fine. I’m really at a loss now. I feel like we’ve tried everything!
