I have a “MASTER 2S MAX” machine and a Lightburn program. I would
like to send the “Air assist” on / off command from Lightburn so
that some relay turns the air pump on or off automatically. Does
“Master 2S Max” have any output (transistor) that can handle this?
Similarly - if I wanted to control the lifting of the table with
the engraved material (instead of the Z axis, which the machine does
not have) - is it feasible with my machine’s motherboard and its software?
Thanks for the answer. It seems logical - “Neje” would have to include such a possibility in his firmware.
Or maybe Lightburn has the ability to control an additional device (for example on a different port)? If I had built my own driver (for example to control an “Airassist” relay or an additional axis) and wrote the firmware to accommodate Lightburn commands - would that be feasible?
i need it too, but i will do it the good old analog way. i mount a magnet on the slider and a reed-contact outside. If the laser leave the home position i get an output and at the end it will go back to the home position and the air stops. easy and save!
