I wanted to check in and see if there have been any recent updates on the full compatibility of LightBurn Pro with the Sculpfun G9s. Any new developments or improvements in this regard?

Hello, I’ve been struggling to set up my Sculpfun G9 with LightBurn Pro for the past week, and I’m honestly out of ideas on what else to try to get it working. I haven’t been able to find any helpful tutorials or guides for the setup. Currently, the G9 shows up as a USB device, but from what I understand, it needs to appear as a COM port. I reviewed the post, but it doesn’t completely address my question. I’m wondering if there’s a specific timeframe when LightBurn will be fully compatible with the G9 and ready to work as expected.

As discussed in the other thread, it is being worked on. No timeframe available.
I guess it will still take some time because it will need LightBurn developers to dig into it, and they have limited resources doing this. Debugging third-party devices is not the primary task, I think.
