So as the title states I am losing or gaining steps somewhere. I have no idea what is occurring and why. If I engrave 3 of the items at a time things seem fine. If I do an entire row, forget about it. I have checked belts and the accelerations which appear to be fine. When it transitions from engraving to cutting things go bad. I will post the machine settings and a picture of what is happening.
It’s a little hard to look at your picture, but it does not look like lost steps to me.
If you make rows of simple circles, what do they look like?
When there are lost steps it looks more like holes or displacements in the lines, here it is approaching a missmatch of 2 layers.
I would agree it is a mismatch between the two layers that only shows itself when I print long rows, or multiples. If I print 3-6 no issues. They are grouped and I see no issues when I preview.
Try to dig a little here in the forum, I’m sure I’ve read about something similar issue and a solution before, good luck.
Thank you!
I was chasing a similar issue on my cutter for a long time and I think I’ve finally solved it by changing the PWM setting in vendor settings. If you change anything there, be sure to save a copy locally before you make any changes. This might help
