MKS DLC 32 with K40

According to your knowledge its minor changes in both power supply but I am newer and have little bit knowledge about it.
So please help me how to wire up shown power supply.

I have already visited that page here he clearly mentions about connections of pin G & IN in K40 power supply I also know about pin P+ & G.
I am confused on connection of pin K-, K+, L, 5V,G and 24 V?

Sorry i came again to disturb you.
Homing is enabled in GRBL and issue is rectified almost.
Now i am facing a new problem which also relate to homing.
When axis go to homing position its halted and did not come back and a message came at LightBurn console is shown in picture.
I used limit switches in Normally Open Condition, 2ndly when it move to seek homing motion of motor is very slow.
Please guide me in this regard.

How are these, marked in red, set?

:smile_cat:

I did as you directed but situation is same.
Please see Pictures

Generally when the limit switches are NO, the switch pulls the line low.

You have ‘Limit pins inverted’ enabled… I would think that should be false or disabled.

The machine with this photo has NC limit switches…

I’d disable the ‘limit switch invert’ option…

:smile_cat:

New problem started as i diable “Limit Pins inverted”

Please check Blue area of picture may be i am also facing same issue.
if it is then how can i make it off of Z axis home in easy way…

I connect it as shown in picture. Now issue is when i fire up laser from light burn 1stly i need to press fire button then push K- and K+ then laser tube fire up for testing.
when i put drawing and give command to lightburn to run job in MKS DLC32 Light up indication but laser tube did not work. please help me how to resolve it. I did not connect L pin with anyone.
For test check i Connect L Pin with CNC Spindle Negative pin but there is no change in behavior of Laser Tube.

ok we need a recap.

Hello, I came again to disturb you.
I give some test job to My Laser machine (K40 under upgradation with MKS DLC 32 V2.1) before starting the job laser machine is at homing position, it started the job and after competition of job Y gantry touches the limit switch this massage shown in console.

According to my little bit knowledge Y axis gantry did not comeback at which position it started the job.
I change $27=8.000, $27=7.000, $27=6.000, $27=5.000, I tried these commands also but no change in behavior of machine. Sometime another massage displayed in console which is

Please help me how to rectify it.

and you did not answered to my question.

Please check what i did.

as i am remembering/recalling of memory about my failure is when i press fire on LightBurn and connect K- and K+ pin laser tube fire up.
But when i gave some sketch to draw the laser tube did not fire up because i did not connect of short K- & K+ pin.

It is correct we need to short K- & K+ in MKS DLC 32 V2.1.
Now laser tube is firing up and working.
On every stage i am facing a new problem i think that’s called learning.
Now i have three issues.
When machine completed job X and Y Gantry went to home position but Y axis touch with limit switch and on console massage appeared.

2ndly when laser head is at tale of x axis gantry i gave a command to home laser head did not reach at home position and stopped then need to give him again home command and then its properly homed.
during this process there is massage received on console but now i did not remember that words.

A post was split to a new topic: K40 : GRBL : MKS DLC 32 : New set up : Power ramp at start / direction change

What happened to this forum no one is helping me and answering my requested questions.
At least higher management or lightburn staff help me may be other all busy their own life.
If no one help me or reply me then what is purpose of this forum.

Lets try and get someones attention for you… I was hoping some uses with this board would jump in…

Maybe @JohnJohn can stir up something for you…

Yeah, I’m here… lots to wade through.

We’re here… Every time you add a post, we see movement so we often view that as forward motion. There is a great deal of community engagement on this.

@atif, You have asked multiple questions and it’s hard to tell what the current status of the project is. The community is attempting to help.

I’m going to take the liberty of separating out the leading and trailing edge behaviour in your artwork into a new thread as that is not wiring or firmware related. This does appear to be a software setting and is highly valuable to address clearly.

Let’s keep this thread about firmware for your MKS DLC 32.

Wiring and MKS DLC Configuration files are not really LightBurn related (software) questions but we are sincerely working at helping you enjoy your journey.
