My experience with SS and grayscale is only on 0.5mm and 0.8mm business cards, and they warp bad, compared to using stuki or jarvis with a white pass and then a black pass.
Iāve added support for Grayscale image mode for BSL machines. This should be in the upcoming 2.0 release.

Hi @LightBurn - thatās great but I understand that wonāt run on my Windows 8.1? Can you add this to a 1.7x version?
You need to start a new thread, as itās not related to the thread title. Maybe one of the Lightburn can move it for usā¦ like @JohnJohn 
The Lightburn site states you need to be at Windows 10+.

Does the support for 2.0 comming at full release or already at pre-release?

Iām sorry, but Iām not sure I understand what youāre asking with this. Grayscale support has been added to the 2.0 release, and will be in the full release, but Iām not sure if itās in one of the RCās yet. We have another RC coming shortly, and it will definitely be in that.
