Problem when machining pockets

Problem when machining pockets
Hello everyone,
I have a small problem when machining circular pockets… I’m using 2 mm passes, but after each pass, the spindle rises above the workpiece, which wastes time. I’ve changed the project’s safety settings, but nothing has changed; the spindle still rises above the material.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
Best regards

What is your “Pocket Lift Height” value set to in your project?

That value, if it is not zero, is the height above the floor of a pocket to lift to when traveling within the pocket.

You haven’t posted any screen shots of the project settings, your pocket settings, or said which version of MillMage you’re using. You should do those things when posting a question so it’s easier for us to help you.

Hmm… that is odd - that should work as expected. Can you email your project to support@lightburnsoftware.com so we can have a look? Include a link to this thread.
