Solved: PAN with spacebar doesnt work with touchpad

Hi, on my Lenovo laptop I had the issue, that the spacebar doesnt work for panning in combination with the touchpad like described in this older discussions:
Spacebar doesnt work as pan and
Cant PAN with spacebar
but I can not post my solution there, as both threads are closed already.

I searched for a while and found out, that there is a function called “PalmCheck” (at least for Synaptics Touchpads), which switches off the touchpad during the keyboard is in use. And while trying to find out, how to switch that off, I found a simpler solution from the microsoft community (How do I disable PalmCheck…windows 11)

There is a sensitivity switch in Windows Settings–>Bluetooth & Devices–>Touchpad–>Taps–>Touchpad sensitivity–> Most Sensitive

After I set that to “Most sensitve”, panning with space bar and touchpad is working as it should. I guess switching off the Palm Check should also work.

I hope that is helpfull for somebody.
