I created a file that included text and a surrounding frame. I saved it as a dxf and when opened in Autocad it displays the text correctly. However, when imported to Lightburn, the formatting of the text has been lost as its just a line of text stretching beyond the boundaries of the framw. The dimensions in both Autocad and Lightburn are mm. The original file was created on a Mac, but the same problem exists when on a Windows machine. Can anybody help?
I too have this problem and am waiting for a solution. I wasn’t always that way. My work around was to create the text using text created as geometry.
(It wasn’t always that way.)
There is a patch in imported DXFs in the next release.
I’m going to check with the boss to see if it’s related to this:
I can check your dxf file against the new beta if you’re interested and willing to share it. You can post the problematic file here or email it to Support@lightburnsoftware.com
