Lightburn not snapping to grid or object

the software is not allowing me to snap objects together or even to grid

The size of the grid and the tolerance for snapping may interact in unexpected ways: the grid must be much larger than the snap distance.

Snap to grid and shift key for Horizontal/Vertical lines doesn't seem to work

Hello, I’ve googled this and read the instructions, and it seems that I should be able to draw horizontal and/or vertical lines in 45 degree increments if I hold the shift key while drawing. But, this is not working on my mac. When I hold the shift key it will draw a line at any angle and it will also draw a curved line. The second problem I’m having is snap to grid doesn’t seem to work. I have it enable in settings, but it won’t snap to anything. I can’t snap the end of one line to the end …

Grid spacing alignment and adjustment

I am doing a bit of light drawing on Lightburn which is not really drawing software, but i am drawing some simple squares and shapes to cut out squares within squares and circles. I can get the exact size squares and circles with the XY bar showing the measurements and ruler which is very handy but when i want to aline the square within a square or circle i find i cant even it up, the square or circle inside the square seems to jump too much or too little up down left or right, cant even it up.…
