Public Release Candidate - 1.7.00

Ok, downloads should be back to normal. But please let us know if you run into any further issues.

I can download installer exe file now with out problem but it will not run.
When I click on file the hourglass comes up for a second goes away and nothing happens. I think Endpoint Protection Service maybe stopping it.
Windows 11, iolo antivirus, Chrome

Your file has two duplicate points in the outer shape, and that was what was triggering the crash. I’ve fixed the bug that caused it to fail.

I check for duplicates…without “alarm”

Glad you can fix it

That’s not the intended use of the scissor tool. If you want to cut a single side off a square, just use the ‘D’ key when hovering over a line in Node Edit mode.

Duplicate nodes, not duplicate shapes. These two points have nodes that are almost on top of each other:

Select your big outer shape and click Edit > Optimize Selected Shapes, move the “Line fit” option up a single tick to 0.002.

This should be fixed in the next update as well. Adam will be cutting an update later this evening.

We had a user complain that they couldn’t jog the full range of their large format fabric cutting machine - I think it was 8’ x 20’.

Yes, I can remember this wish of one of our friends.
It’s fine that something like this can be done too :+1:

I have an error with the hotkeys, if the language is Spanish or Latin American Spanish the shortcut keys do not work. And if I want to reassign them they tell me that they are already in use, even though they do not appear in the list, and if I put them in English, they work again.
