Image shifting and bunching up but cut out is OK

Red-Black 90w Laser
Ruida controller
engrave 400mm/s 25%
Fill 450mm/s 20%
Cut 25mm/s 65%
Birch ply held down pins
belts are tight so are stepper motors

When doing a engrave/fill and cut I get the fill shift while the engrave bunches up, cut out in just fine. This is repeatable, and all come out the same, like it was meant to be, how do I attach image?

Cute design! I suspect mechanical issues.

This may be an odd example of the Ruida skewed engraving config glitch:

The simple test is to flip the value of PWM Rising Edge Valid for the X axis in Edit → Machine Settings → Vendor Settings → X Axis, then run the same failing job on cardboard (reduce the power as needed) to see if the situation improves. If it doesn’t improve, just flip the switch back again.

For most machines, both the X and Y axis switches should be False, so if they’re either True or different, that’s a clue.

That’s … odd, but I’m not going to argue with success!
